I chose the book to know more about Robbins and maybe glean some information that helps me achieve modest financial goals that I've been planning for years. I gleaned what I needed. My plans are to be frugal and live on the least amount of money possible so I have time to heal severe PTSD among other mental health problems that grew from not treating PTSD properly AND be successful financially. So far it's going very well on these plans, but I've got the help of faith so things that move me along on my journey seem to entice me enough to simply click on them. T. Harvey Ecker is my next deeper inquiry, and I've gleaned enough information already to have utilized at least the Spending Plan. Self-help is a crucial step in healing PTSD and so is trusting your intuition. It's a quick read, has a few errors in punctuation, and summarized the topic in a pleasant and seemingly unbiased way. I believe the author was doing this for his audience instead of for income. I feel like reading another, but the Donald Trump one isn't available.
I feel this book was a bit one sided. Although Tony Robbins is a marketing expert in selling his products and live events, this is no different than any other successful business. The question is...do his products provide value and solutions if you use them as instructed? Of course he has to have a trained staff to coach on his behalf because common sense dictates that he can't possibly meet with every single person. This is no different than Fortune 500 companies that hire top salespeople in order to sell their products. Basically, Tony Robbins is running a successful business with an excellent marketing plan that encourages people to buy his products. Has he made mistakes? Yes but ALL businesses and people do including the author of this book. That's how they (we) learn. I've never been to one of Tony Robbins' live events but I've purchased his audiobooks from . Every time I listen to them, I get inspired. It keeps me on track to work on my own life and business. That's what I paid for and that's what I got. Tony Robbins has created a business where he can inspire/help others and make money...what's wrong with that?
I think Tony Robbins is a master. For himself. I know a couple of people who spent tons of money on his books and workshops only to experience s short term high and be right back where they started only a little poorer.
I read this as an essay that's primary aim was to diminish or call into question the integrity of Robbins. I don't know if that is typical for this author or if he just dislikes Robbins.
Personally I hope he's not as bitter about life as he seems.
Other than exposure to some of the infomercials in the 90's I have no exposure to Robbins material, in case you wonder. Although now I think I will at least give one of his books a read.
Overall I liked it. Very concise and to the point. Didn't feel biased in the least.

When a person talks about how to make money, it always grabs my attention. George Ilian offers a fantastic read directed by Anthony Robbins. The book is loaded with insights for the stay at home mother who wants to build her very own company, to the person who is already and established entrepreneur and is interested in ways to make their business thrive.
Robbins has several lessons to be learned from his accomplishments, but the one I value the most is lesson 29, which states, "events outside your control can dictate the ultimate outcome of your endeavors." To me this means you can never depend on everyone's circumstances to be the same when it comes to making a deal, so its best to plan ahead and make sure that not one single person is missing out including yourself.
I do recommend this book to the established businessman or woman, or the stay at home mom who wants to make some extra income for rainy days
